About Us

Our law firm was founded in 1955 by tax consultant Max-Ulrich Adrian. Due to his good contacts with the construction industry, the focus of his work in the first decades was on tax and business management support for construction companies. Over time, the clientele expanded both nationally and by industry, so that Mr. Adrian continued his work together with Mr. Michael Heck, a business graduate. After Mr. Adrian's departure in 1989, the law firm was initially continued solely by Mr. Heck. In 1992, Joachim G. Doll, lawyer and specialist in tax law, joined the firm. Our joint practice has been operating as the tax and law firm Heck & Doll since 1995. Today our work includes tax, business and legal advice as well as supporting clients from a wide range of industries. In addition to the preparation of balance sheets and tax returns, our work includes financial and payroll accounting (including construction wages), but also the representation of our clients' interests vis-à-vis the tax authorities, in particular in tax audits, in objection and tax court proceedings and in criminal tax proceedings. We are also happy to help our clients with the preparation and review of contracts, the enforcement and defense of claims in civil courts, company succession, setting up a business and with business management issues. In addition to the construction and construction-related industries, it now includes many professional groups, such as doctors and other medical professions, architects/engineers, brokers, lawyers, notaries, retail, catering, vehicle repair shops, the IT and logistics industry as well as real estate/property management our clientele.
